Legal guarantee
At least two years of legal guarantee of conformity for goods sold in the European Union.
Consumers can exercise their rights under the legal guarantee, for example if the goods:
Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity that existed when the goods were delivered and becomes apparent during the legal guarantee period. In these cases, sellers must offer:
Some countries provide a longer legal guarantee period. A shorter period may apply to second-hand goods, but it cannot be less than one year.
For information about your rights in a particular country, scan the QR code in the notice or ask the seller.

What should you do if you receive goods that do not conform?
Sellers and manufacturers may also provide commercial guarantees that apply independently of the legal guarantee. For example, the GARAN label in the notice indicates that the manufacturer provides a commercial durability guarantee at no additional cost that covers the entire product.

Battery cables transmit high currents reliably and with the lowest possible loss – for example, between the battery, inverter, charger, charging booster, or high-power consumers. In addition to the correct cable cross-section, choosing the appropriate cable type is also crucial.
At EBROM, you can obtain battery cables in three different versions: H07V-K, HI-FLEX, and FLY. This allows you to select the cable best suited to your application.
H07V-K is a flexible, fine-stranded copper cable that is ideally suited for numerous battery and DC installations. It is our proven standard solution for battery connections, inverters, chargers, power distribution, and many other applications in protected installation areas. Due to its fine-stranded construction, the cable is easy to work with and route, even in larger cross-sections.
When particularly high flexibility is required, we recommend our HI-FLEX battery cables. The extra-flexible strand construction facilitates routing around tight bending radii and in hard-to-reach installation areas. Ideal for battery, inverter, and supply connections where a particularly supple cable is desired.
For applications where a cable specifically designed for the automotive sector is required, we offer our FLY vehicle cables. They are designed for the specific demands of electrical installations in vehicles and, depending on the version, are suitable for increased temperature and environmental requirements. The respective standards, temperature ranges, and technical specifications can be found directly on the corresponding product page.
Simply choose the right cable: H07V-K is our proven standard solution, HI-FLEX is the particularly flexible alternative, and FLY is the variant specifically designed for automotive applications.
The required cable cross-section is fundamentally determined by the current intensity, cable length, installation method, and permissible voltage drop. Under specific environmental conditions—for example, potential contact with oil, fuel, battery acid, or other operating fluids—the material resistance and operating conditions specified for each item must also be observed.
At EBROM, you can purchase battery cables by the meter. You can assemble custom-made battery cables in our cable configurator. Select the cable type, cross-section, color, length, and connectors, including ring cable lugs. The choice of cable lugs, ring terminals, or tubular cable lugs depends on the cable and the connection point.
Our product selection includes, for example, H07V-K battery cables with 6 mm², 50 mm², 70 mm², and 95 mm² in black, red, or blue. Information on copper and OFC copper, nominal voltage, and DIN/VDE standards can be found on the respective cable page. For a positive battery cable on the positive terminal or a ground cable, refer to the connection markings on your system.
For a battery connection in a motorhome, on a boat, or in a solar or photovoltaic (PV) system, the right cable design is essential. Coordinate your selection with the installation site, humidity, movement, and potential contact with operating fluids. This applies especially to the marine sector. For wiring PV modules, we also offer solar cables.
We offer FLY versions for car batteries and vehicle electrical systems. Further variants can be found under vehicle cables. If you need to replace a battery cable, or require an extension or a cable bridge, choose the cable type, length, cross-section, and connectors that match the connection. The factors mentioned above for sizing also apply to 12V and 24V systems.
For connection cables between the battery, charge controller, and consumers, you should also align the power cable with the cable type, conductor cross-section, length, and permissible voltage losses. This applies to power supply from leisure batteries in a motorhome as much as it does to storage batteries in a photovoltaic system. The current-carrying capacity must be suitable for the specific installation and application.
Information regarding copper strands, oxygen-free electrolytic copper, and purity levels such as 99.9% OFC copper applies in accordance with the labeling of the respective item. Also, check the specifications for PVC insulation and nominal voltage. Whether the cable is suitable for greases or chemicals depends on the resistance of the specific version and the intended contact conditions.
Whether ring tongue, ring terminal, or tubular cable lug: the cable lug must match the conductor cross-section and the mounting point. This also applies to fastening to a stud or ground point. Whether heat shrink tubing over the crimp is necessary for protection against moisture and oxidation depends on the components used and their installation guidelines.
For positive and negative or positive terminal and negative terminal, the polarity of the system is decisive. Clear color coding and checking the connections help prevent confusion and polarity reversal.
